Re: Using Multiple Generic Info Panels

Jon,

I have found that some odd conditions can be cleared by reseting a

cache that is apparently internal to the File Info processing.  (File

Info 2.0 and newer.)

Quit all the applications that support File Info 2.0 or newer.

Temporarily move the problem panel(s) out of the appropriate "panels"

folder.

- - I usually create an adjacent  "panels(disabled)" folder that is

useful for this task.

Launch an application that uses File Info (Photoshop or Bridge for

example).

File->File Info

- - The tabs for the problem panels should not be present. (clearing

the cache)

Quit the application

Move the panel(s) back into the "panels" folder.

Launch Application again.

File->File Info

- - This should freshly build the tab entries in the cache.
