How to install correctly XMP Metadata UI sdk CC 2014 "sample extension" in CC application and Bridge to get data sync ?

Hi everyone,

Coule you please help me solving an issue with the XMP Metadata UI sdk CC 2014 "Sample extension" and Bridge?

Since Adobe as change the way to create custom metadata panels in CC applications, i try to customize and implement the "Sample extension" to create a specific workflow.

Here are the steps :

• Make a copy of the folder "Sample extension" delivered by Adobe in the package XMP Metadata UI sdk CC 2014 you can download here : http://download.macromedia.com/pub/developer/xmp/sdk/XMP-Metadata-UI-SDK-CC2014.zip
• Paste this folder in the following location on my Mac : /Users/UserName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/XMP/Metadata Extensions/Sample extension
• Open Illustrator, go to File/Info.
• The sample panel appears correctly. that's Fine!

CUSTOMIZATION

I made the customization according to the document Adobe XMP Metadata UI Developer's Guide.pdf you will findi nside the packageXMP Metadata UI sdk CC 2014 :

• In the folder Sample extension, i changed the file sampleSchema.xml which is a schema where i can define new properties i need for my custom panel.
• In the folder Sample extension, i changed the file sampleview.xml where i have created my own view that displays only fields i want to use in my custom panel.
• When it has been done, i have checked that the panel appears correctly with my custom fields in AI or PS .

DISPLAYING CUSTOM PANEL IN BRIDGE

Next step is now to display the custom panel in Bridge :

• I have created an xml file named Sample.xml to declare each field i want to display in Bridge
• I saved the sample.xml file in the following location : /Applications/Adobe Bridge CC/Adobe Bridge CC.app/Contents/Application Data/Custom File Info Panels/4.0/custom/Sample.xml
• When i open Bridge, the metadata fields listed in the Sample.xml file appear correctly

Note : I can see this xml file could also be saved in the following location : /Users/UserName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/XMP/Custom File Info panels/4.0/custom/Sample.xml

IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE TO SAVE THE FILE HERE OR DIRECTLY IN THE BRIDGE APP CONTENT FOLDER ?

PROBLEM :

1. The panel is not visible in Bridge when you want to select it by the menu File/info
2. When you enter and save data in Ai or PS by using the custom panel that appears in the menu File/Info, the same fields in Bridge will not sync with the data
3. When you enter and save data from Bridge, the custom panel in Ai or PS will note display the data from Bridge.

How can i get the Bridge metadata fields and the custom panel in Ai and PS sync ?

It would be so kind if someone could help me.
