Thanks Dash. Some progress because that now builds correctly, however when I open the Xcode project I get
unable to find sdk '/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacO SX10.11.sdk' (in target 'XMPFilesStatic')
although I've changed Base SDK to "macOS" from the custom path.
